Hybrid Krew Preview '03 (wmv, 950 k)

COMPLETE:

As of yet, the only video project the Hybrid Krew has completed is the Hybrid Crew Summer 2002 Sampler, which is on a limited release on VHS only as a gift to the Krew and its friends and family.  This video captured the essence of the first years of the Hybrid Krew.  Some parts we are less than proud of, but we display them anyway.  Other times we cannot help but beam in pride or grimace in memory of the effort necessary to perform some shots.  The old format for the website was in the theme of this video.

WORKS IN PROGRESS:

Push It

Our latest brainchild.  Replacing the Slippery When Wet title, we devised this title for our new theme and attitude.  This video will be comprised of a variety of footage from Spring 2002 through Summer 2004.  We are picking through the dregs for this beast, but fear not for quality: most will be new footage.  Expect to see not only blading, but also drifting, snowboarding, skateboarding, and wakeboarding.  Expect a breakthrough.  New editing techniques, better skating, better music, better.  Yep.  Release July/August 2004; available in multiple formats. 

PROJECT: Slip

We've always been talking about our big release, and calling it Slippery When Wet, but we are not yet sure if our next release will be of the caliber we would want such a nice title to be associated with.  Time will tell, but we'll use the name for now.  This video will be comprised of footage from late summer 2002 through summer 2003.  We expect the video to be largely blading, but you can hope to see some of Alex's wakeboarding and some snowboarding in there too.  While we don't expect too much, this video will be of a caliber unseen in Sampler.  Will be available in various formats.

Second Line: Am's Day Out

As you may or may not know, we have an extensive "second line".  These are our friends who participate in various extreme sports but don't quite have the right amount of skill, or the right chemistry, or the right view to be a part of the front line of the Hybrid Krew.  Nevertheless, these people hang with us on many an occasion, and even get on film.  Second Line: Am's Day Out will be a display of this bit of footage, with appearances by the front line members.  This video will not be available for purchase, but will be a gift to the members of the second line and some others.  Also, it won't exist until we get really bored.
